Affiliate Program Marketing
Setting Up and Presenting Back End Offers
As important as the rest of the aspects of affiliate program marketing are, the product must be the central focus and what the website owner spends a considerable amount of time researching. There are just so many bad products out there that finding the right product is going to be critical to the overall success of the business. If you can find a product that enables you to have a significant back end offer, it can be quite profitable.
Setting up and presenting the back end offer is not as difficult as you may think. It is essentially multi-level marketing (MLM) at its best. That tag alone will have a negative connotation to it in many circles but again, as long as an honest product is being sold, this method can be very effective and creating loyal customers who will spend their money.
The first part of the deal is going to have to be somewhat of a teaser that will bring them in, reward them for their patronage and be offered for free or for very little money. In most cases, the website owner wants nothing more than to get them to fill out a form and give them their email address. You get their information and they get an e-book or some other type of PDF file that gets them interested in what you are doing.
The first product does not have to necessarily even do anything for them, it just needs to provide them with information that can tell them what they are going to accomplish if they use the system that will eventually be sold to them. Once they are interested, they move up to the next level of purchase. It is best to only use a few levels as too many will upset people, but having a free level, low cost level and then the final purchase can be very effective.
The second tier should be some useful information for them that can actually get them in business. Whether this is another e-book or some product does not really matter, it just needs to be something that is quality and that does what it promises. This is the set up for the big payday and actually, the final product can be featured in tier two.
The last stage of the affiliate program marketing is to have them buy a higher priced item that will lead them to the promised land or some type of membership. Memberships work out great because the fees are generally recurring and as long as they are happy with the product, the continue to subscribe every month. You now have reliable income that will only increase every month with every new customer. It may take the site a little while to roll, but once it becomes popular and your customers start to send people to you along with your own links, the program can generate rather large amounts of income.
